Benjamin Sesko declares willingness to join Arsenal amid Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United links

Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of 21-year-old RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, a target for other bigwigs.

Benjamin Sesko is on the radar of clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona. However, a report from the Daily Mirror has claimed that the 21-year-old RB Leipzig striker has shown the willingness to join the Gunners.

The striker has a gentleman’s agreement with the Bundesliga club, who are prepared to let him leave for a fee of around £60 million at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can get the deal across the line. They are in desperate need of a reliable striker, and the Slovenian could transform them in the attack.

Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have not been able to score goals consistently, and Arsenal have suffered because of that. They need a quality striker if they want to win the Premier League title. Arsenal missed out on the league title in the last two seasons, and they are finding it difficult to win the league title this time around as well. The lack of a clinical finisher is costing them dearly.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona in the race

Chelsea and Manchester United need attacking reinforcements as well and have their sights set on Sesko. Chelsea need to bring in an upgrade on Nicolas Jackson if they want to fight for major trophies.

On the other hand, Manchester United need an upgrade on Joshua Zirkzee, who has not been able to live up to the expectations in the Premier League. It will be interesting to see if they can convince the striker to change his mind and join them instead of Arsenal.

On the other hand, Barcelona are keeping tabs on his situation as well. However, the Spanish outfit are going through financial difficulties, and it is extremely unlikely that they will be able to compete with the Premier League clubs financially.

The Bundesliga outfit are unlikely to sanction his departure for a knockdown price. So, Barcelona are likely to be priced out of a move for the player. It remains to be seen where the 21-year-old Slovenian International ends up eventually.
