According to a report by Hugo Cerezo and Matteo Moretto, Ansu Fati might make way for FC Barcelona to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. The Catalan giants are eager to beat the competition to the signature of the English international. So, they are keen to part ways with the 22-year-old academy graduate to create room for the Manchester United outcast.
The rise and fall of Ansu Fati
Ansu Fati has endured a dramatic fall from grace after the high of his incredible debut season. Pundits and Barcelona fans hailed the Bissau-born attacker as the heir to Lionel Messi at the Catalan club after he took the world by storm as a teenage sensation in the 2019/20 season.
However, fitness issues have plagued Fati since a memorable debut season, stunting his progress and reducing him to the shell of a player he was half a decade ago.
