Premier League heavyweights Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old Italian international Davide Frattesi from Serie A club Inter Milan.
According to a report by Italian outlet Inter Live, Davide Frattesi is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are scouring the market for a midfielder and have set their sights on the Inter Milan playmaker. The Serie A champions value the Italian international at around €35-40 million but want Curtis Jones in the deal to send him to the Merseyside club next year.

Davide Frattesi has been in and out of the starting lineup since joining Liverpool from Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri initially signed him on a season-long loan deal in July 2023 before completing a permanent move earlier this year in the summer transfer window. However, he has not been an undisputed first-choice starter for the Serie A champions.
The 25-year-old has not even racked up 1,000 minutes of game time across 19 appearances in all competitions thus far this term while chipping in with three goals and one assist. So, it is hardly surprising that Inter Milan will be open to cashing in on the player in the January transfer window.
The Serie A champions will demand around €35-40 million to part ways with the Italian international next month. The Inter Milan midfielder does not have a shortage of suitors pursuing his signature, with Premier League heavyweights Liverpool among the clubs keen on securing his services.

Liverpool’s interest in Davide Frattesi is understandable. The Reds are scouring the market for a midfielder ahead of the two transfer windows next year. While Ryan Gravenberch has been a revelation in his role under Arne Slot, the Liverpool manager wants a top-notch alternative to his compatriot to last a long and arduous season.
So, several candidates, including Nico Gonzalez, have emerged on Liverpool’s radar. However, Frattesi is also a viable target. Liverpool should have the funds to afford a deal worth €35-40 million to sign the Inter Milan midfielder. However, the Serie A champions are keen to land Curtis Jones in the deal to sell the Italian international to the Merseyside outfit.
That arrangement does not work for Liverpool, with the Reds not open to parting ways with the resurgent Englishman. So, Inter Milan must suffice with a cash deal with Liverpool worth €35-40 million or negotiate with another suitor to sell the 25-year-old next month.
