Manchester United have reportedly identified 19-year-old Juventus whizkid Kenan Yildiz as a top target for the 2025 summer transfer window.
According to an update by reputed German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Kenan Yildiz is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils have identified the Juventus prodigy as a top target for the 2025 summer transfer window. However, the 19-year-old is happy at the Serie A club and does not plan to depart from the Allianz Stadium anytime soon.
The Kenan Yildiz story
Kenan Yildiz has established himself as one of the best young prospects in Serie A since joining Juventus in July 2022. Born in Regensburg, the Turk spent most of his formative years thus far in Germany, starting his youth career in his hometown before rising in prominence during his spell with Bayern Munich.
However, the 19-year-old left Bayern Munich to join Juventus in July 2022 and has gone from strength to strength in the last 30 months. Yildiz enjoyed his breakthrough at the Serie A club last season and has grown in stature in the 18 months that have followed.
The youngster has turned out over 50 times thus far for Juventus while chipping in with eight goals and four assists. Yildiz’s exploits for the Bianconeri have helped him become a regular for Turkiye, making 17 appearances for his national side. Meanwhile, the Turkish international’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe, including Manchester United.
Premier League adventure on the horizon?
Manchester United’s interest in Kenan Yildiz is understandable. The Red Devils are scouring the market for a versatile attacker ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window as Ruben Amorim starts getting his ideas across.
So, several candidates, including Omar Marmoush, have emerged on Manchester United’s radar. However, Yildiz is also a viable target, although prising the Juventus wonderkid away from the Serie A outfit will be a tall order.
