Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all keen on acquiring the services of PSG full-back Achraf Hakimi.
According to a report from Fichajes, Achraf Hakimi could soon part ways with Paris Saint-Germain and there is no shortage of interest in his services as Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all keen on having him in their squad.
Hakimi made a name for himself while playing for Inter Milan. He then secured a move to the French giants in the summer of 2021 and has only gone from strength to strength over the years. The 25-year-old Moroccan international is amongst the best full-backs in the world and he is a key figure in the PSG dressing room.
But, his long-term future is not certain as his contract with the Ligue 1 giants runs out in the summer of 2026. He will enter the final year of his deal at the end of the 2024/25 season and top clubs are already looking at him as an option to reinforce their backline.
European giants could battle for Hakimi’s signature
Manchester City are interested in the Real Madrid graduate. Pep Guardiola’s team are looking at him as an ideal replacement for Kyle Walker whose contract ends in 2026. The English international could leave next summer and Hakimi could come in to fill his big boots.
Liverpool are also keen on his signature. While the Reds already have Trent Alexander-Arnold in their squad, his contract runs out at the end of the season. Real Madrid are keen on his signature and if he ends up leaving the club for free, they could push to bring Hakimi to the club.
But, it will only happen if he doesn’t end up penning a new deal. While the Liverpool full-back is Madrid’s priority target for the right-back position, if he extends his stay at the Merseyside club, they could launch an assault to bring Hakimi back to the club.
With Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez on the wrong side of 30, signing a right-back is a top priority and they could use their previous connections with Hakimi to get a deal over the line.
