Arsenal eyeing Antoine Semenyo, Milos Kerkez double swoop

Arsenal will reportedly look to launch a double raid on fellow Premier League club Bournemouth for Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez.

According to a report by Caught Offside, Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez are the subjects of interest from Bournemouth. The Gunners have identified the Bournemouth duo as their targets for the 2025 summer transfer window. However, the Cherries want around €80 million to part ways with the two players, although the Premier League title contenders might not cough up the required sum.

Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez: Flying at Bournemouth

Antoine Semenyo has come into his own in the early days of the 2024/25 season. With Dominic Solanke joining Tottenham Hotspur in a big-money deal, the Ghanaian international has shouldered more responsibility in the final third. He has not disappointed, chipping in with three goals and one assist in seven Premier League appearances thus far this season.

As for Milos Kerkez, the young full-back has gone from strength to strength since joining Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023. The Hungarian international enjoyed an excellent debut season with the Cherries and has remained the first-choice left-back at the Vitality Stadium this term.

The 20-year-old has turned out nearly 50 times thus far for Bournemouth while chipping in with one assist. Meanwhile, Kerkez’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe, especially in the Premier League. Recent reports have linked the youngster with Manchester United, with Arsenal also interested in him and Semenyo.

London calling?

Arsenal’s interest in Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez is understandable. The North London club will dip into the market for a versatile attacker and a left-back next year as they look to become a force in the Premier League. Signing Semenyo will help Arteta land an alternative to all his first-choice attackers.

Meanwhile, Kerkez will give an option for a natural left-back if he arrives from Bournemouth. However, Bournemouth will demand around €80 million to part ways with Semenyo and Kerkez, with the price tag leaving Arsenal hesitant.

In addition, Arsenal will face stiff competition from other Premier League clubs for both players, with Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur interested in him. So, it will be interesting to see if the North London club will land the Bournemouth duo next year.
