Tyrell Malacia is closing in on returning to action after resuming training this past weekend. However, while the Dutchman has recovered from his long battle with a knee injury, he is not fit enough to feature for the Red Devils yet.
Meanwhile, Luke Shaw (calf), Leny Yoro (foot), and Victor Lindelof (toe) remain on the sidelines. Erik ten Hag discussed Shaw’s progress during his pre-match press conference, suggesting the Englishman could return to action before the international break.

As for the midfield unit, Erik ten Hag will likely rest Kobbie Mainoo and Christian Eriksen, with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte returning to the starting lineup. So, Ugarte will make his first start for Manchester United in a European fixture on Wednesday.
Bruno Fernandes will retain his spot in the advanced areas, reprising his usual no. 10 role for the home side. Marcus Rashford and Antony will return to the starting lineup, taking their places on the flanks. Finally, Joshua Zirkzee will start as the central striker, with Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo being options on the bench.
