Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in signing Arsenal star forward Gabriel Jesus before the end of the transfer window.
The Saudi Pro League have done some serious business in the recent transfer windows, and they are looking to continue the trend this summer. They want to add more stars to their league as they look to raise the standard of football in Saudi Arabia, and according to a report from HITC, Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus is one of the names on their radar.
The 27-year-old striker has played the majority of his football in the Premier League. He joined Manchester City back in 2017 after coming up the ranks at Palmeiras. During his five-year-long spell under Pep Guardiola, he had a lot of success. But, he slowly went down the pecking order and in search of regular first-team action he joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022.
While he might not have lit up the world following his move to the Emirates, Gabriel Jesus has been a consistent performer for Mikel Arteta’s team. Last season, he scored eight goals and bagged as many assists in his 36 outings.
Gabriel Jesus to leave Arsenal?
The Brazilian international still has three years left on his deal at the North London club. But his future has come the talk of the town as Arsenal have been on the lookout for a new striker. Arteta wants a star forward who can guarantee goals and is more of a typical number nine.
While the former Manchester City striker is a quality option up top, he is not an out-and-out striker. Arteta’s search for a proper number nine has resulted in reports suggesting that the Brazilian international could be on the move before the end of this window.
Saudi Pro League wants to sign Gabriel Jesus
There is interest in his services from the Middle East. Saudi Pro League clubs are looking to once again make big-name signings this summer; they want to add more stars to their league, and Gabriel Jesus is one of the names on their radar.
Saudi Pro League clubs believe he could be a great signing for their league, and they could knock on the North London club’s door soon. They are also working on a deal to sign Richarlison from Tottenham. While there is a high possibility of the former Everton star making the move to the Middle East, signing the Arsenal striker is a much more difficult task for them.
