The West Yorkshire side stood firm on their £30 million valuation and did not budge despite Everton’s high-profile interest in the Italian international.
Leeds United failed to reach the top flight after a defeat in the play-offs final. They could allow Gnonto to leave and are demanding at least £25 million for the winger. Everton are interested in the Italian international, and they are eager to revive their interest from last summer and get a deal in place for the attacker.
Sean Dyche’s side lack wide options despite re-signing Jack Harrison from Leeds United. The Toffees could also lose Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer and might have to search for a new striker. As for Wilfried Gnonto, he was their No.1 target for the wide attacking role, and they might get their man this time out.
