West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Fulham are all keen on acquiring the services of South American star Jhon Arias.
According to Pipe Sierra via Central FLUMINENSE, Jhon Arias’ impressive performances for Fluminense have resulted in a lot of interest from the Premier League. Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham United are the clubs interested in bringing him to Europe.
Arias arrived at the Brazilian club in the summer of 2021 and has since featured in 168 matches for them. He has found the back of the net on 35 occasions and has also bagged 38 assists. He has been a consistent performer for them and his ability to feature anywhere in attack has been a huge advantage for the team.
While his contract at Fluminense runs until the summer of 2026, his future has been up in the air of late. There is interest in him from the English top flight, talks of a potential departure have started and the next week is going be very crucial.
Arias has been linked with a move to Europe on quite a few occasions in the past as well. Multiple Premier League clubs have registered interest in him but nothing concrete has developed so far.
But, things could change in the coming weeks at Fulham, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are plotting a summer move for the right-winger. Arias’ pace and his ability to dribble to past opponents along with his versatility are major reasons why the English clubs want to sign him.
Fulham, West Ham & Crystal Palace keen on Jhon Arias
The Eagles and the Hammers were linked with the 26-year-old back in the winter as well. While they retain interest in him, the Cottagers have now entered the race as they look to add more firepower to their ranks. They are expected to part ways with a few of their wide players and Arias could come in as a replacement.
The Hammers already have a lot of quality on the flanks but they are looking for more options. Adding a right-footed winger who prefers playing on the right flank could give them something different.
Meanwhile, Michael Olise is on the wishlist of multiple top clubs and if he does leave Crystal Palace, the Colombian international could end up being a great addition to their squad.
With two years still left on his deal, the Brazilian club will look to make a significant profit from his departure and it will be interesting to which of the three clubs ends up making an offer for him.
