The appointment might come across as a gamble in the summer. Liverpool have been linked with managers like Ruben Amorim, Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi, and Thiago Motta as well.
Alonso has already confirmed that he will continue with Bayer Leverkusen after guiding them to the league title. Amorim could prove to be a quality appointment for the Reds, and he is close to winning the league title with Sporting CP this season. Kovac might not be the most inspiring addition
