Borussia Dortmund prepared to pay £35 million for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been linked with a permanent move away from the club heading into the summer.

A report from Fichajes has claimed that Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing Jadon Sancho permanently, and they would be willing to offer £35 million. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United are prepared to accept the reported offer from the German club.

The 23-year-old winger is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, and it is evident that he does not have a future at Manchester United. The England international had a fallout with Erik ten Hag earlier in the season, and he was frozen out of the first team. Sancho needed to leave to play regularly, and he has managed to rediscover his confidence and form at the German club.

Jadon Sancho must leave Manchester United

Staying in the Bundesliga would be ideal for him, and he will hope that the two clubs can sort out an agreement. Manchester United paid £73 million for Jadon Sancho, and they are ready to accept a major loss on the player now. But their reported price tag is higher than £35 million.

The move to the Premier League has clearly not worked out for Sancho or Manchester United. It would be ideal for the two parties to go their separate ways. Manchester United should look to cut their losses on him and let him move on permanently.

The Red Devils need to bring in quality wingers, and selling players like Sancho and Antony in the summer will allow them to recoup some money and invest in new signings. The Englishman is enjoying his football once again with Borussia Dortmund, and continuing with his former club would be ideal for the young winger as well.

The 23-year-old is still quite young and he has plenty of time to fulfil his world class potential. If he manages to reach that level in the coming seasons, he will have opportunities to join big clubs once again. The England international has picked up two goals and an assist in eight starts for Dortmund so far since returning on loan.
