The Midlands side are on the brink of Champions League qualification under Unai Emery, which will undoubtedly boost their potential to earn significant revenue.

However, conditions are attached to that idea, as the ownership wants the Spaniard to achieve Champions League qualification and sell star midfielder Douglas Luiz.
It is believed that Luiz’s sale would pave the way for Villa to reinvest the potential £100 million from the Brazilian’s transfer on new signings. It could have a similar effect on the club to Jack Grealish’s sale, which allowed them to spend money on key stars.
Emery might be hesitant to sell Luiz, although he does have plenty of top-draw suitors like Manchester City and Arsenal.
