Liverpool have not approached the agent of Ruben Amorim over a potential move in the summer to replace Jurgen Klopp.

For any new man to come in, they must fill in the massive shoes of the German boss, as the club will look to appoint a strong enough name at the helm.

Amorim could be a target for Liverpool, with reports from Portugal insisting he could leave Sporting CP if they fail to win any titles this season. The 39-year-old Portuguese manager has seen links to the Premier League before, especially after his connections with the Tottenham job last summer before they appointed Postecoglou.
The report states that the links to Liverpool are not accurate, as the club have not made any approaches towards Amorim’s agent as things stand. While that only dismisses the current links with the Merseyside job, it does not rule out a future possibility.
