According to a report by TEAMtalk, Chelsea are keen on reinforcing their squad in the upcoming winter transfer window. The Blues have the opportunity to sign Fulham’s Joao Palhinha as his entourage has been in contact with them.

Despite spending millions on their squad over the past few transfer windows, the Blues are once again expected to be quite busy in the upcoming window. Mauricio Pochettino is not happy with the core of his team, and he is ready to offload as many as seven players and wants to build a new spine for his team.
Pochettino wants reinforcement in all areas of the pitch and as far as the midfield is concerned, Palhinha is one of the names on their radar. The Portuguese international has been in sensational form since making the move to Fulham in the summer of 2022.

Chelsea could be a potential destination for the 28-year-old. Palhinha’s representatives have sounded out Chelsea, who are in need of reinforcement in the centre of the park.

According to the report, the player’s representatives are keen on securing him a move to Stamford Bridge in the winter.
