Barcelona will be ready to offer €15 million plus a player on loan to sign 22-year-old newly-debuted Spanish international Bryan Zaragoza.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Bryan Zaragoza is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The reigning La Liga champions are scouring the market for wide attackers. And they are ready to offer €15 million plus a player on loan to sign the newly-debuted Spanish international.
Bryan Zaragoza has come leaps and bounds since joining Granada CF from Conejito Malaga in 2019. The 22-year-old did not set the stage alight during his formative years and went under the radar in his youth career. He had to wait until after his 20th birthday to make his first-team debut for the Andalusian club in November 2021.
But the Spaniard has not looked back since breaking into the first-team squad, going from strength to strength in the last two years. Zaragoza has risen to prominence in the early days of the 2023/24 season, managing five goals and one assist in nine La Liga appearances thus far.
The young winger’s exploits for Granada have also helped him earn his first call-up to his national side. And Zaragoza made his debut for Spain in the international break this month, making his mark off the bench against Scotland. Meanwhile, the player’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Barcelona.
The Blaugrana will likely delve into the market for a wide attacker in the 2024 summer transfer window. Ferran Torres faces an uncertain future at the Catalan club and might leave Barcelona next year if his fortunes do not improve. In addition, Barcelona’s ability to complete a permanent deal for Joao Felix is unclear amid the never-ending financial troubles.
Several wide attackers, including Estevao, have thus emerged on Barcelona’s radar, with the Blaugrana focusing on signing a youngster who can complement Lamine Yamal and Vitor Roque in the final third. Bryan Zaragoza is also a viable target, with Barcelona ready to offer a part-exchange deal to Granada. They are willing to fork out €15 million plus a player on loan to sweeten the deal for the Andalusian club.

The report claims that Barcelona will offer the services of Pablo Torre or Julian Araujo. The Catalan giants have already used this method to sign Oriol Romeu, with Torre joining Girona on loan. So, it will be interesting to see if it works again when they look to sign Bryan Zaragoza, who has also emerged on Real Madrid’s radar.
