Liverpool are interested in acquiring the services of the 20-year-old Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala.
According to Christian Falk, Liverpool are keen on having Jamal Musiala in their ranks. The 20-year-old sensation has been doing wonders for Bayern Munich and he is considered to be amongst the best young talents in world football.
Musiala was a part of the Chelsea youth academy before joining Bayern Munich’s youth academy in the summer of 2019. He started off at their under-17 setup and made it to their first team in a year’s time. He has gone from strength to strength since making it to their first team.
The 20-year-old has already featured in 133 matches for the German giants and has contributed towards 57 goals. He has found the back of the net on 32 occasions and has 25 assists to his name. The German international was on fire last season as he contributed towards 32 goals in 47 outings.
He has carried on the good work in the new season and already has three goal contributions in eight outings. Musiala has already established himself as one of the mainstays of the German club and is expected to play a big role in the ongoing season.
Meanwhile, his contract with the German club runs out in the summer of 2026. And, as things stand, there are no talks regarding a renewal. Given the quality of the player, Bayern would be desperate to extend his stay at the club. But, it seems the player and his agents have different ideas.
With his contract expiring in a few year’s time and no talks of an extension, there are quite a few clubs that are paying close attention to his situation. And, they could push for his services in the near future. Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in the 20-year-old sensation.
The Merseyside club have already started the rebuild in the centre of the park. They have already acquired some quality players but there is still place for a few more world-class players and the German international could be a great fit for the club.
Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the player and he would love to have him in his ranks. However, it won’t be easy to land the 20-year-old at the club as Bayern will try their best to extend his stay and there are other top European clubs interested in him.
