Chelsea utility man Trevoh Chalobah is reportedly keen to complete a move to Bundesliga club Bayern Munich today.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, 24-year-old Chelsea utility man Trevoh Chalobah is ready to make his move to Bayern Munich before the summer transfer window shuts down on Friday.
The English defender has fallen down the pecking order of late and is far from a sure starter under Mauricio Pochettino. The arrivals of Axel Disasi and Levi Colwill has rendered the 24-year-old to fall further down the priority order as far as the defensive roster is concerned.
He could be offered an escape route out of Stamford Bridge, with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel keen. The German tactician was the one who gave Chalobah opportunities in Blue and could reprise the partnership, this time in Bavaria.
Bayern Munich remain interested in securing the Chelsea utility man and are still in talks with the Blues. Die Roten remain optimistic of landing their man and are proposing a loan deal that could benefit all parties.

The 24-year-old, for his part, is ready to make the move. With time ticking down, the onus is now on Bayern and Chelsea to work out an agreement. Such an arrangement should prove benificial for all parties involved.
Capable of playing at centre-back and also out wide on the right, Chalobah could be seen as a direct replacement for Benjamin Pavard, who left for Inter Milan this week. Given that Tuchel is well aware of the 24-year-old strengths and weaknesses, he could use the Chelsea man to great effect, potentially resurrecting his career at the highest level.
A strong tackler, Chalobah is also an adept passer of the ball. His ability to bring the ball out from the back will add a new dimension to the Die Roten roster.
It could prove to be a busy day of outgoings at Chelsea, with AC Milan considering making a move for Mason Burstow. With a bloated squad at his disposal, it makes sense for Chelsea to rid themselves of players not expected to feature prominently, especially given the lack of European football this season.
