Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is on the verge of joining Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in a deal worth €100 million.
According to a report by 90min, Harry Kane will end his long association with Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days. The Tottenham talisman has given his green light to join Bayern Munich this summer. And the Bundesliga champions have an agreement with Tottenham over a deal worth €100 million.
Harry Kane spent his formative years at five English clubs, including Arsenal, before graduating from the Tottenham Hotspur Academy. But the 30-year-old had to bide his time before becoming a regular for the North London club. But he has not looked back since scoring on his debut in 2015, becoming a talismanic figure for his club and country.
The England captain is the record goalscorer for the Three Lions and Tottenham. And Kane has a staggering record of 280 goals and 64 assists in 435 appearances for the North London club. But Kane’s long stint with Tottenham will end this summer, with Bayern Munich on the verge of signing him.
Kane has been on Bayern Munich’s radar for a long time. And they even showed interest in the English international last summer, only for a move to not materialise. However, the Bundesliga champions never ended their interest in the Tottenham talisman, and they submitted multiple bids to secure his services.

But Tottenham showed little inclination to part ways with Kane, even though he has entered the final year of his contract. However, Bayern Munich never gave up pursuing the 30-year-old and tabled a bid worth over €100 million. And the Bundesliga giants have secured an agreement with Tottenham to land the experienced striker.
Bayern Munich will pay a base fee of €100 million to secure Kane’s services. In addition, according to Fabrizio Romano, they have also included add-ons worth €20 million. But there was a late twist in the tale, as German journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Tottenham revoked Kane’s permit to fly out to Munich.

However, it seems the England captain will finally get his desired transfer in a deal worth €100 million. And it will be interesting to see if Bayern Munich can quickly get the deal over the line, with Kane becoming Robert Lewandowski’s heir at the Allianz Arena.
