PSG willing to offer Kylian Mbappe in deal to sign Harry Kane

Paris Saint-Germain are keen on acquiring the services of Harry Kane and are willing to offer Kylian Mbappe in return.

Ben Jacobs has told Caught Offside that Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the ongoing transfer window. The French club are looking for reinforcement in attack and have their eyes set on the Bayern Munich target.

In an attempt to beat the German club to the signatures of Kane, PSG are considering making Kylian Mbappe, a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid, a part of the deal. The French club are ready to sell Mbappe in the ongoing window as they do not want to lose out on him for free next season with his contract running out.

The player has made it clear that he has no intention of extending his stay at the club beyond the duration of his contract. As a result, he is available on the market, which won’t change unless he is ready to pen down an extension which looks unlikely.

Meanwhile, numerous top clubs from across Europe are keen on having the French World Cup winner in their ranks. Barcelona are one of the clubs to have enquired about the services of the 24-year-old, who bagged 41 goals last season. However, their financial situation suggests that they are unlikely to strike a deal for his services.

Real Madrid are keen on having Mbappe in their ranks, and it is no secret that the player dreams of playing for the Los Blancos. However, there has been no movement from the Merengues as of now. PSG fear that the French international already has an agreement with Real Marid over a free transfer next season.

Meanwhile, there is a record-breaking offer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, who have placed a world-record €300 million offer. They are ready to offer him wages of €700 million for a year and will allow him to leave for Real Madrid for free next season. Even if PSG accept the offer, it will eventually depend on the player.

PSG are keen on finding a solution regarding Mbappe in the ongoing window. They do not want to risk losing out on him for free and are ready to accept a swap deal. And, according to the report, the French club are ready to offer the former AS Monaco star to Tottenham Hotspur to land their priority target Harry Kane at the club.

But, they are behind Bayern Munich, who will look to tie him to a long-term deal. On top of that, Daniel Levy and Nasser Al-Khelaifi do not have that great a relationship, which might hamper any potential deal. While PSG are ready to offer him to Spurs, the player is unlikely to accept such a move as he dreams of playing for Real Madrid. Meanwhile, one cannot rule out a move to the Middle East for a season given the amount involved.
