West Ham United table bid to sign Sofyan Amrabat

West Ham United are keen on signing 26-year-olf Morocco international midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina this summer.

According to Enzo Bucchioni on Radio Bruno, as relayed by Fiorentina News, West Ham United have submitted a €35 million offer to sign 26-year-old Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

It appears that the player is keen on joining a big club this summer. So a move to West Ham seems unlikely. The 26-year-old has been a key player for Fiorentina and his country in recent months.

Amrabat was outstanding during the 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign with his country, and he helped them reach the semi-finals of the tournament. With that, Morocco became the first African nation to go that far at a World Cup.

The tough-tackling midfielder could prove to be the ideal acquisition for West Ham as they look to replace Declan Rice. The 24-year-old England international is heading to Arsenal in a club-record dealheading to Arsenal in a club-record deal.

Amrabat is at the peak of his powers, and he could prove to be a sensational acquisition for West Ham. He has the ability to transform the Hammers in the middle of the park.

The 26-year-old has the technical ability and physicality to succeed in the Premier League, and he could be an instant hit for the Londoners. It will be interesting to see if the Italian outfit decide to accept the €35 million offer from  West Ham.

Amrabat deserves to play for a big club after his performances in the World Cup, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He has been linked with clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United in recent months.

The player will probably want to join a club with Champions League football next season. West Ham will be competing in the UEFA Europa League and are likely to be an attractive destination for most players but attracting Amrabat could prove complicated for them.

West Ham will not have any shortage of resources because of the impending departure of Declan Rice. However, convincing the 26-year-old to accept their project could be difficult for them.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few days. West Ham will have to replace Rice adequately, and they must look to bring in a top-class player who can marshall their midfield next season.
