Barcelona want to re-sign Marc Jurado from Manchester United

Barcelona will reportedly look to re-sign 19-year-old Spanish wonderkid Marc Jurado from Manchester United this summer.

According to Que T’hi Jugues, Marc Jurado is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The Catalan giants are keen on re-signing the 19-year-old wonderkid from Manchester United in the ongoing transfer window. And they are already working on a deal to secure his services in a cut-price deal.

Marc Jurado is a native of Spain and spent most of his formative years in his homeland. The Spanish defensive sensation began his youth career at Can Rull before joining Barcelona in 2011. But after spending nearly a decade at the Catalan club, he moved to Manchester United in May 2020.

Since then, the 19-year-old has come leaps and bounds and even made an appearance in the matchday squad last season. But Jurado has yet to make his first-team debut for Manchester United. Meanwhile, he has turned out 32 times in Premier League 2, chipping in with three goals and four assists. The youngster also made an appearance in the recent pre-season friendly.

Jurado produced an impressive performance as Manchester United beat Leeds United 2-0 earlier this week. But the teenage wonderkid might leave Manchester United in the ongoing transfer window. And Barcelona will look to re-sign him and assign him to Barcelona Atletic heading into the 2023/24 season.

The report by Que T’hi Jugues, the reigning La Liga champions are working on a deal to secure Jurado’s services. And it appears the 19-year-old whizkid is ready to rejoin Barcelona in the summer transfer window. In addition, the operation will be of a cut-price deal, including cost-based objectives.

The Catalan giants have been keen on signing a right-back this summer. And recent reports have linked them with several defenders, including Pablo Maffeo. But unlike Maffeo and other targets, Jurado will represent Barcelona Atletic if he rejoins the Catalan club in the summer transfer window.

It is unclear if Manchester United will be ready to part ways with Jurado in the ongoing transfer window. With the Red Devils unlikely to pursue a right-back this summer, it makes sense to keep the 19-year-old Spanish wonderkid at the club. But it will be interesting to see if Barcelona can re-sign him in the coming weeks.
