Real Madrid interested in Benjamin Sesko

Real Madrid have reportedly been linked with a move for 20-year-old Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko.

Benjamin Sesko is highly rated around Europe, and he has a big future ahead of him. A report from Fichajes claims that Real Madrid could look to secure his services during the summer transfer window. Sesko recently agreed on a move to RB Leipzig, and he is set to join the German club in July.

It remains to be seen whether Leipzig are prepared to sell him even before he has played a single game for them. The striker is reportedly valued at €50 million, and he could prove to be a quality long-term investment for Real Madrid.

It is no surprise that Real Madrid are looking to sign strikers, especially after the departure of Karim Benzema. Sesko is not the only player linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer. Real Madrid are reportedly looking at players like Harry Kane as well.

Sesko has 18 goals and four assists to his name across all competitions this season, and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. However, the 20-year-old striker is quite inexperienced, and Real Madrid need to bring in a more established option who can make an immediate impact.

Someone like Harry Kane would be ideal for them. Sesko would be a solid long-term acquisition, but Real Madrid cannot hope to rely on him to leave their attack next season. He would be a useful option to have in the squad though. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Ideally, the 20-year-old striker should look to join RB Leipzig and continue his development with regular football at the German club. He might not get regular opportunities at Real Madrid next season and that could affect his development.

The Slovenian is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him and he cannot afford to sit on the bench at a top club. if he can continue his development with regular football, the €50 million-rated striker will have plenty of opportunities to join big clubs like Real Madrid in the near future.
