Liverpool, Tottenham rival Manchester United in Tyler Adams pursuit

Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.

Leeds United have been relegated to the championship and Tyler Adams will look to play for a top-flight club next season. A report from 90 min claims that Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are all keen on signing the player in the coming weeks.

Adams has established himself as a key player for Leeds since joining the club and the Whites certainly missed him during his injury layoff.

However, the midfielder is too good for the championship and he deserves to play for a Premier League club.

Manchester United need to bring in midfield reinforcements and the American International could prove to be an upgrade on players like Scott McTominay.

The Red Devils must look to sign a quality partner for Casemiro and the 24-year-old can form a solid partnership with the Brazilian international.

Adams is used to playing in the Premier League and he should be able to make an immediate impact.

A move to Manchester United would be a massive step up in his career and he is likely to be tempted if there is a concrete offer on the table.

Similarly, Liverpool need to find replacements for James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. All three players will leave the club on free transfers and the Reds must bring in the right reinforcements. Adams could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition for the Reds.

Tottenham will have to add more depth to their squad as well and it remains to be seen whether they can fend off the competition from Manchester United and Liverpool to secure the 24-year-old midfielder’s signature.

All three clubs would represent an exciting opportunity for the 24-year-old midfielder and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Manchester United have more financial resources compared to the other two clubs and they have secured Champions League qualification as well. It is fair to assume that the Red Devils could be leading the race to sign the 24-year-old.
