Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all interested in acquiring the services of 25-year-old defensive midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.
According to 90min, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the services of Ibrahim Sangare. The 25-year-old has been putting in some impressive shifts in the centre of the park. And quite a few Premier League clubs are interested in signing him ahead of next season. Meanwhile, he is valued at around €37 million.
Sangare has been a part of PSV Eindhoven since the summer of 2020. He has gone from strength to strength during his time at the club. The 25-year-old has featured in a total of 129 matches. He has been involved in 21 goals, having found the back of the net on 12 occasions and creating nine goals.
The Ivory Coast international has managed to bring his ‘A’ game to the table in the ongoing season. He has been the mainstay of their team. He has been a rock in front of his defence in the 41 matches that he has featured in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has found the back of the net on seven occasions and has created three for his teammates. On the back of impressive performances, PSV handed him a new contract in the summer of 2022. His new contract runs until the summer of 2027. However, there is a €37 million release clause in his contract which could lead to his departure given the amount of interest in his services.
Premier League clubs Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are keen on signing the Ivory Coast international. Representatives of the clubs were present in the stands to watch PSV Eindhoven take on Ajax. While there were quite a few players on their radar, including Jurrien Timber, the centre of the attraction was Sangare.
Erik ten Hag have done wonders in the ongoing season. But he wants to add a defensive midfield to his ranks. He wants to have a cover for Casemiro and believes signing the 25-year-old could bolster his squad as well as help their cause.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also keen on having him in their ranks. Mikel Arteta wants depth in the centre of the park. Despite signing Jorginho in the winter, Arteta feels the need of another midfielder, someone who can contribute towards defensive solidity. And, he has his eyes on Sangare.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are eyeing a midfield overhaul ahead of next season. He is desperate to sign multiple midfielders to help revive his club and believes signing the Ivory Coast international could sort out the defensive midfielder’s position.
Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all well capable to trigger his €37 million release clause. As a result, it will be interesting to see who ends up winning the battle for his signature.
