PSG prioritising summer move for Harry Kane

Harry Kane has been linked with a summer move away from Tottenham Hotspur, with Paris Saint-Germain interested in him.

Harry Kane is one of the best players in the world, and Paris Saint-Germain dream of adding him to their world-class attacking unit. A report from Le Parisien claims that PSG could look to make a move for the 29-year-old Tottenham talisman in the summer.

Kane will enter the final year of his contract at the end of the season, and Tottenham could be under pressure to cash in on the player if he refuses to sign an extension with them. They will not want to lose the Englishman as a free agent next summer.

The 29-year-old has been a key performer for Tottenham over the years, and his departure would be a devastating blow for them. However, the England international might feel that this is the right time for him to take the next step in his career and join a club capable of winning major trophies. The striker is yet to win a single trophy at Tottenham.

He has been linked with a move to Manchester United as well, and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can fend off the competition from the Euro giants and secure his services.

There have been rumours that Kane would prefer to continue in the Premier League and break Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record in the coming seasons. In that case, Manchester United could hold an advantage in the transfer race. It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few months.

Tottenham are going through a rough patch right now, and it remains to be seen whether they can secure Champions League qualification for the next season. Their form has been quite mediocre in recent weeks and missing out on the top four would be a devastating blow for them.

The best players in the world want to play in the Champions League and Kane could look to move on if Tottenham miss out on Champions League qualification. Furthermore, they recently sacked Antonio Conte and are yet to bring in a quality replacement for the Italian. While they have been linked with a number of managers, no decision has been taken regarding a permanent appointment yet.
