Sevilla want €40 million for Youssef En-Nesyri amid Tottenham, Crystal Palace interest

Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Youssef En-Nesyri from La Liga club Sevilla at the end of the season.

According to a report from Fichajes, Youssef En-Nesyri is up for sale during the summer transfer window. And the Sevilla striker is set to cost a fee of around €40 million amid interest from Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old has done reasonably well for the Spanish club this season, scoring 13 goals across all competitions. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham and Crystal Palace are willing to come forward with a concrete proposal for him. The report further states that clubs like West Ham are monitoring the 25-year-old Moroccan international as well.

En-Nesyri has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past as well. A move to Tottenham would be a major step up in the player’s career, and the North London club could certainly use a backup striker like him.

They have been overly dependent on Harry Kane this season, and En-Nesyri could be a quality alternative to the England international. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace need to add goals to their side as well. And the 25-year-old has proven himself as a reliable goalscorer in La Liga.

The reported €40 million asking price seems quite reasonable for a player of his ability. The Moroccan international is entering the peak years of his career, and he will want to test himself at a higher level.

The opportunity to showcase his qualities in the Premier League will be a tempting proposition. Tottenham are currently fighting for a place in the Champions League. And if they manage to finish in the top, four, they will be an attractive destination for most players.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have had a difficult campaign so far, and they will be hoping to finish as high as possible with a strong finish to the season. Spurs are certainly a more attractive option compared to the likes of West Ham and Palace. The North London club will fancy their chances of signing in 25-year-old during the summer transfer window.
