Real Madrid could use Pini Zahavi to land 20-year-old Gabri Veiga at the club ahead of next season amid interest from Arsenal.
According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are keen on having Gabri Veiga in their ranks. The 20-year-old has had an impressive season with Celta Vigo, and Los Blancos want to land the Arsenal target at any cost. They are likely to use super-agent Pini Zahavi as a mediator to get the job done.
The Spain Under-21 star has been a part of Celta Vigo since his childhood days. He has gone up the ranks at the club and was promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing season. Veiga has gone from strength to strength over the last year and is one of the most sought-after talents in world football.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has featured in 25 matches for Celta Vigo in the ongoing season. And, he has 12 goal contributions to his name. Veiga has scored nine goals in the league and averages a goal every 169 minutes. His performances have not gone unnoticed, and a lot of big clubs are pushing for his signature.
Veiga’s contract at Celta Vigo runs until the summer of 2026. However, he is likely to part ways with the club in the upcoming transfer window because of the high interest in his services. And, the €40 million release clause will make things easier for the clubs who want to land the 20-year-old star.
