The Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker has been at the Bundesliga club for the past four years. He has been an integral part of the team and played a crucial role in their Europa League triumph. Antonio Conte is looking to add a creative force to his team, and Kamada has emerged as a target.
Daichi Kamada started his career in Japan and slowly progressed through the ranks before being signed by Frankfurt. He made his full Bundesliga debut back in 2017 and has not looked back since. Kamada played a key role in Japan’s impressive run in the FIFA World Cup 2022. He helped the Blue Samurai defeat European giants Germany and Spain.
He has played over 150 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt during his time with the Bundesliga club. Kamada has contributed with 36 goals and 31 assists. The Japanese international has developed himself into an exceptional midfielder who has an eye for goal and loves to create for his teammates.
In the ongoing season, the 26-year-old has played 26 matches for the Bundesliga club. Kamada has been directly involved in 17 goals. He has scored 12 and created five. It was been a great season for the attacking midfielder so far, and he is expected to continue his good run in the second half of the season as well.
Tottenham have had a difficult time in the Premier League for the past few years. But Antonio Conte has managed to get back on track, and they are slowly moving up the table. They are currently fifth in the English top flight and are pushing for UEFA Champions League football next season.
Meanwhile, if they manage to get into the top four, Tottenham will need to add more quality to their team. The Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker is a quality player and adding him to the ranks will surely strengthen them.
Kamada is a highly skillful midfielder who has recently proven himself on the global stage. He is on the radar of quite a few clubs. So it won’t be easy for Tottenham to secure his signature. Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also interested in him and do have the finances to offer him a contract he desires. But it will interesting to see if Conte manages to convince him to join him at Tottenham.
