Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move away from the Italian club at the end of the season.
According to FootballNews24, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could end up at Liverpool or Real Madrid as per the player’s compatriot Lasha Salukvadze.
He said, “Kvaratskhelia had an incredible start to the season at Napoli. Ancelotti and Klopp are following him and I believe that in the future he will go to Liverpool or Real Madrid. I also think that this year he can compete for the title of top scorer both in Serie A and in the Champions League.”
Apparently, Liverpool and Real Madrid are following the 21-year-old’s progress at Serie A club Napoli. And they could decide to make a move for Kvaratskhelia at the end of the season. Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp are both keeping tabs on the player.
The 21-year-old Georgian winger has been exceptional for the Serie A giants this season. And he has seven goals and seven assists to his name across all competitions. He was linked with Arsenal before his move to Italy.
Kvaratskhelia put on a splendid display against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League encounter earlier this season. And it is no surprise that his performances have caught the Premier League club’s attention.
Liverpool could definitely use more pace and flair in the final third. But it will be interesting to see how they accommodate the Napoli winger in their starting lineup if the move goes through. That is because Colombian international Luis Diaz is already the first-choice left-winger. So Klopp might need to alter his setup in order to accommodate both players.
The 21-year-old is far from the finished product and will improve further with experience and coaching. A manager like Klopp can take him to a whole new level. The Liverpool manager has a proven track record of improving talented young attackers. And the Georgian attacker could be tempted to move to Anfield at the end of this season.
Napoli are having an excellent season themselves. But the opportunity to play in the Premier League for a club like Liverpool is always an attractive proposition. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can fend off the competition from Real Madrid and agree on a fee with the Serie A giants for the 21-year-old.

The reigning La Liga champions are undoubtedly a more attractive option, and they have more financial resources as well. However, the 21-year-old will have to compete with the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes for a starting berth at Real Madrid. Nonetheless, Kvaratskhelia is an attractive prospect for both Real Madrid and Liverpool.
