Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Dominik Szboszlai, who is a former Liverpool target and is being tailed by PSG and AC Milan
According to French journalist Manu Lonjon, Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Dominik Szboszlai in the summer transfer window. The Hungarian teenage prodigy has been previously linked with Liverpool, with PSG and AC Milan currently the other side chasing his signature.
Szoboszlai joined joined Red Bull Salzburg in January 2018 and has since gone on to amass over 50 appearances for the Austrian giants. The 2019/20 season, though, has proven to be the real breakthrough campaign for the 19-year-old, who has been a key figure in midfield for the team and impressed in several games, including Champions League ties against Liverpool.
In 37 appearances across all competitions, Szoboszlai has a fantastic return of 10 goals and 16 assists, making massive strides at the Red Bull Arena. His progress has barely been overlooked, with Liverpool among the clubs linked with the teenager. Now, though, Arsenal seem to be one of the outfits keen on signing the Hungarian midfielder.
Arsenal are in need of midfield reinforcements heading into the summer transfer window, and for good reason. Dani Ceballos is unlikely to join the Gunners permanently once his loan deal expires at the end of the season. Furthermore, Matteo Guendouzi is being linked with a summer exit, a development which could spark Arsenal into action in search of a midfielder.
The Premier League heavyweights have been linked with a number of midfielders over the last few months, including Szboszlai. However, it now seems like the former Liverpool target might well be a priority for Arsenal.
Le PSG s’est renseigné sur Dominik Szoboszlai ( RB Salzburg) . Profil assez similaire à celui de Milinkovic- Savic. Autres gros clubs dessus. L’entourage de joueur a été sondé et pas insensible a l’intérêt . Coût 25/30M.

Manu Lonjon has claimed that the north Londoners are in advanced talks to sign the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window. Arsenal, though, face competition from AC Milan, who are also deep in negotiations over the prospect of signing the player.
In addition, he has claimed that PSG have also been in contact with Red Bull Salzburg to discuss his availability. The French champions believe Szoboszlai’s profile is similar to that of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but would be a far more economical alternative, something that will attract Arsenal as well.
Lonjon has claimed that Salzburg value Szoboszlai in the region of €30 million, a figure that the Gunners could possibly raise, especially if they part ways with Guendouzi this summer. What now remains to be seen is if Arsenal step up their interest in the former Liverpool target further, as we approach the opening of the summer transfer window.
