Trent Alexander-Arnold replaces Joe Gomez while Sadio Mane returns to the starting lineup as Liverpool get set to take on Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that started in the 3-0 win over Bournemouth this past weekend as Liverpool prepare to lock horns with Red Bull Salzburg in their final UEFA Champions League Group E clash.
Alisson Becker retains his place between the sticks, with Adrian being his backup once again. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only change in defence, with the Englishman replacing compatriot Joe Gomez as Liverpool’s right-back. Giving Alexander-Arnold company at the back are Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson.

Up ahead in midfield, Klopp has made another shuffle, with the fit-again Georginio Wijnaldum walking back into the starting lineup. Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and ex-Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Naby Keita keep hold of their places from the weekend encounter, with James Milner making way for Wijnaldum.
Another former Red Bull Salzburg superstar, Sadio Mane returns to the starting lineup, with the Senegalese winger replacing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Mane joins Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in Liverpool’s three-pronged attack, with Oxlade-Chamberlain and Divock Origi being backup options.
