Xherdan Shaqiri makes his first start of the season while Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino have been benched as Liverpool get set to face Everton at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp has made five changes to the side that beat Brighton & Hove Albion this past weekend as Liverpool prepare to take on Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
One of the changes have been forced, with Adrian coming into the starting lineup in place of the suspended Alisson Becker. Defence, however, remains unchanged, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson continuing as the full-back pairing, while Dejan Lovren partners Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence.

Klopp has made a couple of changes in midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain bowing out of the side. In their stead, James Milner and Adam Lallana start, with Georginio Wijnaldum keeping his place. Milner will don the armband for Liverpool against Everton.
The shocking changes come in attack, with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino being benched. Salah and Firmino have been replaced by Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi, with Shaqiri making his first start of the season in any competition. Sadio Mane is the only regular forward retaining his spot, with Salah and Firmino providing backup.
Liverpool Starting XI: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson; Milner, Lallana, Wijnaldum; Shaqiri, Mane, Origi
