Unai Emery has made wholesale changes ahead of his side’s game against Bournemouth at the Emirates, with Dani Ceballos among those starting.
Unai Emery has named a strong starting lineup for Arsenal’s Gameweek 8 fixture against Bournemouth at the Emirates, making eleven changes to the team that secured a 4-0 win over Standard Liege on Thursday.
As expected, recently returned defensive trio of Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding do not make the cut, although Tierney and Holding are on the bench. Bernd Leno takes over the goalkeeping position from Emiliano Martinez, while Calum Chambers starts at right-back. David Luiz and Sokratis are placed in central defence, with Sead Kolasinac the left-back.

Emery has decided to go with a midfield three of Dani Ceballos, Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka, with the Swiss midfielder sitting at the base. Bukayo Saka is rewarded for his impressive form with yet another start. Saka takes his place on the left side of the Arsenal attack, while Nicolas Pepe plays from the right. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Arsenal’s central striker.
The Gunners’ bench is a rather strong one, with the likes of Martinez, Tierney, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Holding, Lucas Torreira, Joe Willock and midweek hero Gabriel Martinelli all available. There is no place in the squad for a second game running for Mesut Ozil.
