Antonio Conte is likely to reinstate Alvaro Morata in the starting eleven as Chelsea travel to face Leicester City in the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup.

And as they go into the Quarter-Final tie against Leicester City, Conte will be looking to field his best possible eleven to secure a semi-final berth.

And while the manager opted to start Antonio Rudiger against Barcelona, Gary Cahill should return to the lineup as the English veteran seeks a way back into the English National setup as well after being dropped by Gareth Southgate.
The likes of Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso should all start on Sunday. But, the focus will be on who Conte chooses as the midfield partner for N’Golo Kante. With Leicester City famed for their counter attacks, the Italian should field Tiemoue Bakayoko in an attempt to nullify the threat.
One of the main bone of contentions would be as to who starts upfront for Chelsea. Antonio Conte deployed Olivier Giroud against Barcelona without much effect and while Alvaro Morata was overlooked for the fixture at Nou Camp, the manager is expected to reinstate the Spaniard in the starting eleven.
Eden Hazard and Willian will support Morata upfront. Antonio Conte highlighted the Brazilian’s form leading up to the tie and iterated in his pre-match conference that the player must continue to ride his strong wave.
“I think Willian is playing in a fantastic way, with the ball and without it, and his commitment is very high. He is in a fantastic moment of form and he has to continue in this way.”
Antonio Conte also reflected on Gary Cahill and Alvaro Morata’s omission from their respective National squads after he was asked whether the duo could still make the squad for the World Cup.
“This question is for the coach of the national team, not for me. My only worry is that we try to have our players in the best form for Chelsea. Then the national team coach has to make the best decision for the country.”
