Liverpool’s struggles in the Premier League continued on Sunday as Tottenham enjoyed an emphatic 4-1 win over the Reds.
Two errors by Dejan Lovren within the first 15 minutes proved costly as Spurs grabbed a foothold in the game through Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. Mohamed Salah pulled one back midway through the first half, but that only proved to be a consolation for the visitors.
Tottenham restored their two-goal lead through Dele Alli, moments before half-time, and the win was rounded off before the hour mark as Kane grabbed his second in the game. The England striker was hailed for his display on Sunday as he went into the lead in the race to win the Golden Boot.
Lukaku scores against the weaker teams.
Kane scores against anything that moves.

Harry Kane hasn’t scored a *single* goal in a Premier League match since 14 May.

Harry Kane is the truth

Harry Kane is world-class. What an unbelievably phenomenal player. Outrageous.

Dejan Lovren was the villain for the Liverpool fans after a horrific display that saw him being taken off in the first-half.
Here at Wembley, Jurgen Klopp will need a big speech at half-time. But it will probably go over Dejan Lovren’s head.
— Paul Hayward (@_PaulHayward) October 22, 2017
There were people in the away end today genuinely celebrating Lovren’s substitution like it was a goal.
— Oliver Bond (@Oliver__Bond) October 22, 2017
What annoys me most about Lovren is his lack of ownership, after his own mistakes he looks around as if to say “well it’s not my fault.”
— DaveOCKOP (@DaveOCKOP) October 22, 2017
Hopeful that that’s the last time we see Lovren in a Red shirt.
— Dharma Bhagalia (@Kloppholic) October 22, 2017
Lovren off for Chamberlain. Appears he picked up an injury. That injury being embarrassment.
— The Redmen TV (@TheRedmenTV) October 22, 2017
It feels like it’s 2-2 with Lovren coming off. I’m actually celebrating.

I tried so hard to give Lovren a chance time and time again but this is the final nail in the coffin. I’m totally done with him.

Jurgen Klopp wasn’t a popular man either as his side’s travails continued in the Premier League with another poor showing.
Stop blaming Mignolet and Lovren for being what they are.
There’s a supposed world class manager that keeps picking them.

Just left Wembley. My son is in tears. He won’t stop crying, saying he wants to support Man City instead. Absolutely fuming. #KloppOut

We have not been playing well and despite that, Klopp doesn’t try anything new. Dismal managerial approach. #LFC
— Aditya (@AdityaLFC_) October 23, 2017
It was a performance which made a mockery of Klopp’s recent claim that too much is made of Liverpool’s defensive issues. (James Pearce)

I’m a big fan of Klopp. But he’s won 1 game in 9 in the premier league. Rodgers was sacked for winning 2 in 9. Why should he stay? #LFC

KLOPP MADE TWO FINALS WITH RODGERS’ TEAM AND NOW WE’VE GOTTEN WORSE WITH HIS OWN PLAYERS LOOOOOOL
