An imperious Manchester United went to the top of the table on Saturday as they enjoyed a resounding 4-0 win over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
The hosts took no time to break the deadlock as some brilliant individual effort by Marcus Rashford ended with Juan Mata scoring his first goal of the season. Marouane Fellaini then hit a brace through two headed goals either side of half-time to triple Manchester United’s lead.
Finally, in the dying moments of the match the midweek partnership of Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku combined yet again as the Belgian hit his 11th goal of the season to complete another four-goal salvo for his side. The scoreline was a major talking point on Twitter as Jose Mourinho’s men enjoyed another emphatic result.
