After an astonishing 13-game winning run, Chelsea were finally halted in their tracks by Tottenham losing 2-0 to their London rivals at White Hart Lane.
It eventually took a Mauricio Pochettino masterclass to finally give Chelsea their first loss since their 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal back in September.
Dele Alli’s heroics in front of goal aided by solid performances from Christian Eriksen, Moussa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld ironically ensured that Spurs prevented Chelsea from matching Arsenal 14-match winning run from 2002.
However, there was much optimism amongst the Stamford Bridge faithful as they still sat five points clear at the top of the table.
That said, there was a bit of concern shown towards the form and performances of the likes of Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso on the night but it did little to dampen the spirits of the Blues.

That aside, there was largely positive vibes around the Chelsea camp as they looked ahead to continue their title charge. Some even took a leaf out of the history book to reassure fellow blues things will be alright.
