Manager Antonio Conte has named the same side that beat West Ham 2-1 on the opening weekend with Willian returning from a calf injury.
Brazilian winger Willian was a major doubt for the game, but has recovered in time to be named in the starting lineup against Burnley. He will form a midfield four alongside Oscar, Nemanja Matic and Eden Hazard.
Defensively, Antonio Conte continues to vest his faith in his defenders as he has named the same back four for the third game in a row. Gary Cahill and John Terry will start as centre-backs with Bransilav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta as full-backs.
New signing N’Golo Kante has made the defensive midfield position his own and will start for the third game in a row for Blues. Michy Batshuayi, another summer signing, will have to be content with a spot on the bench, despite Conte stating that he could be starting this game.

For Burnley, Andre Gray and Sam Vokes will lead the line, and after an impressive showing against Liverpool last week, the two strikers will be pivotal if the Clarets are to come away with anything from this game.
New signing Steven Defour impressed against the Reds and will be stationed at the heart of midfield alongside Dean Marney. Geroge Boyd and Scott Arfield are expected to start on the left and right wings respectively.
At the back, Matthew Lowton starts at right-back after putting in two spirited performances in as many games for Burnley. Former Manchester United defender Michael Keane starts at the heart of defence and will partner Ben Mee.
