Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba refuses to rule out Manchester United move

Paul Pogba has admitted that he is unsure about where he will end up this summer, but stated that he is focused on his current club Juventus.

The Paul Pogba transfer saga is doing rounds over the internet as a number of events are unfolding with each passing day. It all began with him favouring a switch to Real Madrid, only for the Spanish side to pull out of the move, making Manchester United favourites to sign the Frenchman. Then it was reported that a colossal £100 million fee was agreed between the English club and Juventus for the services of the 22-year old, which was followed by a contradicting report stating he would stay put in Turin.

Apparently, these happenings have taken their toll on Pogba, who is understood to be unsure of what the future has in store for him. The Juve midfielder was in Los Angeles for the ESPYs, where ESPN managed to catch up on an interview with him. During the interaction three replica shirts of Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United were handed to the Frenchman and he was asked to picked one. He hysterically replied: “I’ll take all three”

The 23-year old then spoke about his current club Juventus and his experiences in Turin.  “This is my team, my family, where I am playing. I am happy here, I play football, and do things I wanted to do when I was small.”

When questioned about Real Madrid, Pogba responded:  “The white house — which won the Champions League this year, a great club.”

Finally, as the Manchester United shirt was offered to him, the Frenchman jokingly stated:  “I don’t know this one.” He then described his former club United as, “My first club, my first family.”

After being asked about his reaction if Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho ever decides to give him a call:

“My response would be ‘I don’t know.’ I don’t know when. We will see. For the moment, I am here [Juventus] and I am happy here. I don’t know where I want to go.”
