Tottenham Hotspur FC acquired three important points after their 2-1 win at the Etihad, courtesy of strikes from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen.
The first half drew flak from the fans, as it was more about misplaced passes and poor performance, but the second half brought out the best in players from either side of the pitch.
Harry Kane made his presence felt in the 53rd minute as he fired into the goal from the penalty spot and Christian Eriksen making good on Lamela’s through, slid the ball past Joe Hart in the 83rd minute to help his side an away win.
The title race has gotten even more exciting now that Pochettino’s men occupy the second spot, just two points behind Leicester City and ahead of Arsenal on a sizeable goal difference.
This is how twitter reacted to the Citizen’s loss at their home ground to Tottenham Hotspur.
Leicester are top, Spurs are second. What a wonderful season this is!
