Ukranian football club Shakhtar Donetsk has contributed a number quality Brazilians to the top European clubs and it looks like their newest hero, Alex Teixeira, is on the verge of moving on to a bigger club with the likes of Juventus, PSG and Chelsea FC chasing his signature.

Teixeira has come into his own this season, scoring 19 goals from the first 13 league matches, making him one of the hottest properties in Europe at the moment. The 25-year-old Brazilian confirmed that he has had offers from the likes of Juventus, PSG and Chelsea FC.

Teixeira prefers Chelsea FC
The Brazilian is a wanted man, and he is wanted by the defending champions of Serie A, Ligue 1, and the Premier League. However Teixeira himself seems to be favouring a move Chelsea FC.
“Ia m glad to have received the proposal of Chelsea as they are a big club in Europe, but my manager will sort that,” said Teixeira. “Ita s my dream, I have spoken to many people who have the desire to play in the Premier League, because I think ita s the best World Championship, most competitive.”
Winter move unlikely
Chelsea FC have been on poor form, and look like they are in need of some new inspiration right away. They have been rumoured to be looking for a number of winter transfers. However, Teixeira himself does not think that he’ll be moving anywhere in January.
“For January, I believe it is very difficult because it is in the middle of the championship,” he continued. “Shakhtar has said they will not release me in January, only at the end of the season. But Ia m with a clear head.”
One problem with a move to Chelsea FC seems to be the fact that the Blues have a lot of players in the attacking midfield positions (left, right and center). They already have Eden Hazard, Oscar, and Willian playing in the starting XI, with Spaniard Pedro making occasional appearances.
They also have Colombian play maker Juan Cuadrado on-loan at Juventus. If Teixeira does move to West London, it would be interesting to see where he fits into the Chelsea FC squad.
