. Barcelona won a comprehensive victory over AS Roma on Tuesday, leaving the Rome club gasping for air after being thrashed 6-1, and the second goal in the 18th minute was a delightful display of team work and passing football.
A couple of braces by Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, along with goals by Adriano and Gerard Pique, helped Barcelona book a place in the last 16 for the 12th consecutive year. They now have 13 points, way ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and AS Roma.
After scoring the first goal in the 15th minute, Suarez made the penultimate pass and an awesome assist to help Messi score after Barcelona strung together 27 passes to breach the Roman defense.
