Former LFC Greats Cannot Resist Tweeting As They Express Their Delight Over 4-1 Win At Man City

After sending out a warning to all Premier League teams with a win at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp has announced his arrival in England, big time, as Liverpool FC wreaked havoc with a 4-1 thumping of Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday.

Most bookies must have lost their packets as Klopp’s men surprised everyone by running into a 3-0 lead in just over half an hour! The intent was there to be seen, as the Reds closed down the spaces and were up for the occasion from the word go.

The passion and commitment showed to telling effect after just eight minutes, as Eliaquim Mangala unfortunately helped Liverpool to get on the score sheet by scoring an own goal. Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino added to the tally, and Liverpool raced into a 3-0 lead. Sergio Aguero pulled one back for his side with a cracking strike just before half time, and after missing numerous chances, the Reds finally put the game to bed, as Martin Skrtel volleyed home on 79 minutes.

Some of the former Liverpool greats took to twitter, expressing their delight as Liverpool jump to ninth position in the table. Here are some of the best tweets :
