‘Form is temporary, class is permanent’, they say, and we all know that David Beckham was one of the classiest footballers around. Check out this pass he produced on Sunday that took us back in time.
The UNICEF Match For Children, organized by Beckham himself, was played at Old Trafford last night with a Great Britain and Ireland XI, managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, taking on a Rest of The World XI, with Carlo Ancelotti in charge.
The match featured legends like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Luis Figo, Ronaldinho, Clarence Seedorf and Cafu, as well as the always respected Peter Crouch, sometimes known more for his goal celebrations than skills and during the match, Beckham decided to ‘bend it’ one more time for all the fans in spectacular fashion.
Here’s a video of his cross, that is better than most of the ones we’ve seen in the Premier League this season.
