Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes that his former teammate and Juventus superstar Paul Pogba will become the best player in the world.
The former Manchester United defender praised Pogba for his brilliant performance in last night’s victory over Manchester City. Ferdinand also highlighted the massive self-belief that the 22-year-old has in himself.
Liverpool FC legend Steven Gerrard hailed the French international’s attitude for choosing to challenge himself at Juventus rather than sitting on the bench of Manchester United and being a squad player. Gerrard believes that it is this quality which will help Pogba become a world class player in the future.
Pogba put in a brilliant cross for Mario Mandzukic to score the equalizer, after City went ahead through an own goal by Giorgio Chiellini. Alvaro Marotta scored a stunner from outside of the box to win it for the Old Lady.
