Chelsea FC have made an awful start to their new season, with manager Jose Mourinho losing back-to-back games at the club for the first time since the 2005-06 season. Naturally, Jose was not a happy man in the post-match press conference.
We will have to go all the way to the 1986-87 season to witness a worse start by Chelsea FC. The goals conceded by Chelsea are the most by any side after 5 games since 1964.
Once famed for his well-drilled side, Mourinho has seen his team concede 16 goals in the last 7 games, more than they conceded on the whole during Mourinho’s first league season in charge of the Blues in 2004-05.
Mourinho admitted that the results over the last 5 games in the Premier League are the worst of his career.
