. Chelsea FC midfielder Cesc Fabregas snubbed a handshake from Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea in Spain’s 2-0 win over Slovakia last night.
After being subbed in the second half, the former Arsenal FC midfielder shook hands with almost all the players on the bench, but when De Gea raised his hand Fabregas walked away.
De Gea has been at the centre of media attention after his deadline day move from Manchester United to Real Madrid collapsed, however the week seemed to go from bad to worse for the Spanish shot-stopper after the Fabregas handshake snub.
Following the match, Cesc Fabregas posted a picture on Snapchat alongside De Gea to quash the rumours of an alleged bust up between the two. The Chelsea FC midfielder also captioned the post “All is fine guys”.
Here’s the video of Fabregas’ handshake snub.
