Chelsea FC are close to securing the signature of Augsburg left back Baba Rahman for a fee of A?17.5m as per reports in the Guardian. .
Chelsea FC are on the lookout for a left-back following the sale of Brazilian fullback Filipe Lu s to Atl tico Madrid a and it appears the Blues have a replacement already lined up in Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman.
The 20-year-old is coming of the back of an impressive campaign with Bundesliga side Augsburg with whom he was one of the key players, as they finished fifth in the league table and qualified for European competition for the first time.
It was reported earlier that Chelsea FC were looking to sign Rahman, with Manchester City and Arsenal FC also eyeing a move for the leftback.
