Chelsea FC midfielder Nemanja Matic hails Eden Hazard, says the Belgian is the man to turn to when they “don’t know what to do with the ball”.
Eden Hazard was named as the Premier League Player of the Year 2014-15 as he inspired Chelsea FC to first league title in fiver years with 19 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
Analyzing the Chelsea FC squad for the Daily Mail, Matic agreed with the honours bestowed on his talented teammate and believes that there is more still to come from the Belgian wing wizard.
“He was the best player in the league last season, he won the trophy for being the best and he deserved that,” the Serbian declared. “He’s still so young! He can still improve.”
.
“Usually it’s a player from the champions that wins the best player and he was so good for us a scoring important goals and assisting others.”
“Whenever I dona t know what to do with the ball I just give it to Eden! He usually finds a way to create an opportunity.”
Commenting further on Hazard, Matic said: “Hea s one of the best guys in our changing room a hea s got a great family, two kids with another one on the way.”
There is, indeed, no doubt that despite being just 24 years of age, the former Lille man was indeed the best player in the Premier League by some distance, last season. And there is no reason why, given his talent and attitude, the Belgian cannot continue his rise and ignite a battle with Neymar for the tag of the best player in the world in future similar to what Messi and Ronaldo are engulfed in.
